TONIGHT: Mobile Gourmet Street Carts & Free Music

~The ladies and I are going to do a little shopping and then for dinner hit up the coolest thing since sliced bread...Mobile Gourmet Street Cart dining.  I can not wait!  Not only is it free to get in, there will be live music and my two favorite Carts will be there.  Chairman Bao (best duck & mango bun) and Seoul on Wheel (delicious pot stickers).  So many choices, so little time!

Off the Grid (OtG) is roaming mobile food extravaganza that travels to different locations daily to serve delicious food, with a free side of amazing music, craft and soul.
This week (August 20th) at Fort Mason you can buy mobile muchies from 20 different vendors. The Magic Curry Kart and Venga Paella (pictured at a much swankier event) make their first appearance at OtG and favorites Kung Fu Tacos, Chairman Bao and Seoul on Wheels return.

This should be a fun event and it's for a good cause. 

We hope that you will join us for this very special event at GAP in the Marina next Wednesday, August 25th hosted by Lauren Bush and Ellen Gustafson of Feed PROJECTS – celebrating the official launch of FEED USA bags. The evening is complimentary/hosted and delicious sips & nibbles will be provided by Balboa Cafe. Shopping is welcome and encouraged. Valet parking will be provided. The attire is cocktail casual. Trade Wine Tasting on Tuesday, September 14th

Wow, the events this month have been amazing so far.  The Velvet Room makes much more sense as a event space vs. a restaurant.  Plus the the General Manager mentioned that they are removing the beautiful but useless mirror table, which will definitely open the room up. The decor remained the same and the food was delicious as always.

Bar Agricole was packed, the decor was gorgeous, the drinks ridiculously fresh and strong. Hmmmm, brown drinks = trouble.

As for the Wine Tasting coming up, sounds like it will be a lot of fun!  Here are the details:

Work It Instead of Work Out

Crunch in turning 21 and they are having a party!  Drinks, DJ and Photobooth..sounds like fun.  Tuesday, August 17th @ Crunch on 2330 Polk Street.  Last year, we started our night off with couple of drinks here and then hit up Polk Street Bars afterwards...we may need a repeat :)
