A friend of mine is hosting a garden party to introduce prospective clients to his beautiful carpet creations. The Allied Arts Guild is an amazing location. Food from a great Chef + cupcakes from sprinkles = a winning combination....yummy!
Time: Tuesday, August 3 · 5:30pm - 8:00pm
Location: Allied Arts Guild
75 Arbor Road
Menlo Park, CA
Directly to Pejman at: pejman@amidzad.com Just let him know that you are a friend of mine :)
~More Info Usually, you’re not into garden parties. In fact, if we said “you’re invited,” you’d probably recall a previous engagement.
But what if we said this garden party will be hosted in three acres of a Spanish Colonial Garden built in 1929, where fine wine will be served with ecologically guilt-free gastronomy prepared by Google’s former chef, Charlie Ayers, himself?
Yes, outdoor furniture will be present, but not the plastic chairs... normally crowding such events. After all, One Kings Lane – the online destination for designer home decor sales – wants you to look good when your photo is taken in the “Garden of Delight.” If you’re lucky, you’ll appear in the next issue of Gentry Magazine alongside award-winning designers also in attendance.
So mark your iCal for Tuesday, August 3 from 5:30 to 8:00 pm. Sprinkles’ cupcakes are sure to tempt you, but don’t worry – what no one sees, no one counts. Think of it as a small price to pay for after-hours access to the world's finest collection of carpets and tapestries at Pejman Carpet and a tour of California's landmark, Allied Arts.
Brought to you by ASID, Calafia, Gentry Magazine, One Kings Lane, Sprinkles Cupcakes… and of course, Pejman Carpet. ~

Tuesday, August 10th @ The Velvet Room-5:30pm-7:30pm
I work in the events industry and love my job. Though our industry is struggling during these challenging times, there are perks. One of the biggest...is being in the know. Let me be your inside guide to the places and events that are happening right now.
The Clift Hotel is launching a new restaurant called The Velvet Room. Formerly Asia de Cuba, they have a new Chef but the decor will remain the same. Still, who can pass up what I am sure will be a great cocktail party with delicious food. See you there!
